Jurassic Realm is an intelligence and reflexes arcade game inspired by the Bejeweled concept: a board full of pieces and objects (referring to the prehistoric epoch) that you have to empty by moving and grouping them into equal threes. There are 151 levels in total, and two gaming modes:
- Historic Mode: you have to travel along a main map, getting through levels and scenes and collecting information on 19 dinosaurs.
- Arcade Mode: play level after level without stopping, until you are defeated. It isn't lineal, there is no story or thread, and it has different boards to the History mode.
Next to the pieces you have to group in Jurassic Realm Deluxe, you also find special objects, that work to help or block you. For example, the eggs are fundamental tools to be successful. Bomb eggs, lazer eggs, fragment eggs ... use them cautiously and take advantage of their advantages. The power-ups also help to avoid blocks at a level where there doesn't appear to be a solution.
And to complete a really hard puzzle, Jurassic Realm Deluxe incorporates up to eight levels that are hidden as bonuses, in which you need additional skills. in summary a magnificent option to spend a while having fun without going crazy.
